It is located in front of Lam Soon Community Centre. It was built in 1993 by the now non-existent Bukit Batok Town Council, as one of the first so-called "mega playgrounds" of Singapore. The initial aims of the park is to let the young channel their energy to recreational activities. Later, many more faciliies are also being built to meet the growing needs of the young and old of Singapore.
